Anti-wrinkle injectables use Xeomin® to temporarily relax your muscles, softening wrinkles and lines. It is injected into the desired treatment area and takes around 3-4 days to start to take effect, with full smoothing and rejuvenation appearing after 14 days.

This will depend on your own personal needs. We will discuss how many units you require during your consultation. A unit is $19.55. For example, a forehead treatment may need between 10-20 units for best results.

An initial appointment with consultation and treatment will take 30 minutes, and any follow up treatments are approximately 15 mins (3-monthly). Best of all, the consultation fee ($150) is free if you go ahead with the treatment on the day.

Occasionally bruising at the injection site, burning or slight swelling can be seen but this should subside within a few hours to few days.

Results can be seen after 48 hours, however the full results will be achieved after 10-14 days.

Results are temporary but easily renewable. This is a temporary solution, with results lasting anywhere from 3-6 months. You’ll notice the fine lines and wrinkles slowly becoming more noticeable over time as the effect wears off. People who are active (e.g. a person who goes to the gym a lot) will find that it won't last as long.
While the results aren’t permanent, you now have the secret to looking and feeling your best. You can easily maintain your youthful new look by coming in for a quick touch-up appointment. Dr Yu Ishikawa (aka Ishi) trained as a General Dentist at Otago University and graduated in 2012. Since then, he has worked in the public sector in a hospital and in Private Practice. For the last five years, Dr Ishikawa has provided expert dental care to the Central Otago community as the owner of Tarbert Street Dental Clinic and is now thrilled to offer Xeomin® as well.
It initially caught his interest as a great treatment option for dental issues such as bruxism (teeth grinding) which has been shown to be an incredibly successful management option. Dr Yu's dental background is beneficial as he has great understanding of head and neck anatomy, which makes him an excellent practitioner for forehead, frown lines and crows feet treatments.
